Ski Products
4SProducts ALFOUR®-83 cables are designed for aerial installations. The core and support member (messenger) lay parallel to each other forming a cross-sectional “Figure 8”. The messenger is an integral part of the cable sheath, yet readily available for gripping, pulling and tensioning. Installation is fast and easy using standard methods and hardware.
Self-Supporting design requires no overlashing, allowing installation in a single pass. Standard ¼” EHS (6.6M) galvanized strand. Web, jacket and strand dimensions sized for standard hardware.
For all flexible applications under extreme environmental conditions, because of a very good resistance to UV-rays, ozone and mineral oil. Ski Industry: Tower Switches and Derailment Systems.
Fiber Optic Cables
Indoor/Outdoor Central Loose Tube Cable
Saves space and time by eliminating splices at the cable vault. Can be installed using typical loose tube cable methods and hardware.
Aerial Figure-8 Fiber Optic Cable
Self-Supporting design requires no overlashing, allowing installation in a single pass. Standard ¼” EHS (6.6M) galvanized strand. Web, jacket and strand dimensions sized for standard hardware.
Power/Medium Voltage Cable
Instrumentation
Shielded VNTC Instrumentation
Shielded VNTC instrumentation tray cables are used in 600 volt applications for process and control signals. Shielding protects the signal from electrostatic noise and crosstalk. They can be installed in ducts, trays, conduit, and direct buried. Rated for Class 1, Div 2 hazardous locations.
Plant Telecom Cables
Outside Plant Telecom Cables
Outside Plant Telecommunication Cables are used for a variety of applications and can be installed in underground ducts, direct burial, and aerial applications. Our high quality product line ALFOUR® is manufactured by 4SProducts.
These cables are available in 19, 22, 24 and 26 AWG and range from 6 Pairs up to 2,400 Pairs. They meet the electrical requirements of 100 Ohms, Category 3, Backbone UTP Cables as specified in TIA/EIA-568-A. The color-coding system is industry standard and provides full identification of every pair through the use of 10 different insulating colors and non-hygroscopic unit binders.
All ALFOUR® construction designs from 4SProducts are available using either a solid, polyolefin insulation or foamed polyolefin with a solid polyolefin skin. The solid insulation provides a more robust core construction, whereas the foam skin insulation offers space saving advantages.

Technical Data
Cable Flame Test
A unique test standard whereby a Fire Propagation Index (FPI) is determined based upon a combination heat release and ignition test. The FPI is used to determine a 1, 2, or 3 Group rating. The lower Group ratings are the better performing cables.
